02 / Built around the working day
Your services. Your people. Your schedule.
Start with how your business actually takes appointments. Configure the services you offer, the providers who deliver them and the locations where they happen.
01Services & providers
Connect services to the providers who offer them, with appointment durations suited to the service.
02Locations & capacity
Configure multiple locations, optional location-specific service durations and concurrent appointment capacity where needed.
03Availability & exceptions
Set working windows, buffers and exceptions. Appointment availability takes the configured schedule, existing appointments and provider time blocks into account.
Features described are included in supported release 1.11.2. Configuration and suitability need review for each business; no unlimited usage or compatibility promise is implied.
03 / The other side of a booking
A clearer view. A more practical day.
The reception calendar brings appointments into a working view for authorized staff. Filter by provider or location, inspect appointments and use supported workflows to move or cancel them.

See the appointment. Keep the customer journey and reception workflow in the same conversation.
Manage the change. Staff can move or cancel appointments within the configured rules and permissions.
04 / When the day changes
Plans move. Your schedule can too.
Make room for real life.
Authorized staff can create, edit and delete provider time blocks from reception with the dedicated permission. Blocks apply to the provider across services and locations; they are separate from location capacity.
Existing appointments and active reservations are checked for conflicts. Internal block reasons and notes stay private.
Offer a way to make changes.
Customers can use booking-management links to reschedule or cancel where allowed. Appointment status, valid links and availability determine what can be changed.
05 / Useful connections, thoughtfully configured
Keep people informed. With the right setup.
Notifications and calendar connections can support the appointment workflow. Each needs the right configuration, agreed scope and deployment-specific testing.
Email notifications
Booking confirmations, changes and relevant alerts depend on a working mail transport and configured recipients.
SMS reminders
Supported reminder functionality needs SMS provider configuration, funding and reliable scheduling. Messaging costs and delivery are not included or guaranteed by this page.
Google Calendar
Provider calendar connection capabilities require authorized setup. Availability and booking-event handling must be checked for the deployment; universal two-way sync is not promised.
06 / Start with the business, then the setup
A considered introduction. Not an instant activation.
We first establish whether Zen Bookings fits your website and appointment workflow. Configuration, access, training and ongoing responsibilities need an agreed scope.
01 / Understand
Map the appointments.
Talk through services, team, locations and how customers currently book.
02 / Configure
Agree the right setup.
Review WordPress compatibility, scheduling rules and any notification or calendar requirements before agreeing the work.
03 / Review
Prepare for daily use.
Review the configured journey and reception workflow. Agree handover, training and support responsibilities rather than assuming they are included.
07 / A few practical questions
Before your next appointment.
What is Zen Bookings?+
Zen Bookings is a WordPress appointment-booking solution with a customer booking interface and authorized reception and administration workflows. It is configured for a business; it is not an instantly activated hosted service.
Can we offer different services, providers and locations?+
The supported release includes services, provider mappings, multiple locations and availability configuration. Service durations can be adjusted by location, and locations can have a concurrent appointment capacity. Your actual configuration and workflow need review; these are not promises of unlimited providers, locations or usage.
Can customers change an appointment?+
The product supports link-based rescheduling and cancellation, subject to the appointment state, link validity and availability. Reception staff also have appointment-management workflows. We agree how those workflows should fit your business.
Are notifications and calendar connections included automatically?+
No. Email needs a working mail transport. SMS reminders need provider configuration, funding and reliable scheduling. Google Calendar needs authorized setup. Scope, costs and deployment-specific testing must be agreed; delivery is not guaranteed.
Will it work with our website?+
Zen Bookings is a WordPress solution. We need to review your website, hosting environment and requirements before confirming compatibility, installation scope or any work to connect the booking experience.
What does setup and ongoing support cost?+
Licence pricing, setup fees, renewal terms, update entitlement, hosting and support arrangements need to be agreed. This page publishes no price or package and does not take payments.
Can I request a demo here?+
This private page illustrates the experience only. The Request a Demo links jump to discussion prompts on this page. They do not send a request, book a demo or collect information. An operational demo-request path requires separate setup and approval.
